Ladies Dirt Days 2012
We’re happy to have been asked to team up with Half Acre Cycling and Julia Daher of Johnny Sprockets to co-host the Ladies Dirt Days this year!
If you’ve never been to or heard of these, you need to come check it out! As in the past couple of years, once a month this spring and summer we’re hosting friendly, non-competitive womens group mountain bike rides. This isn’t race pace, this isn’t trying to keep up with the boys. It’s women on mountain bikes, riding and learning some things from each other too!
The location may change for the different rides, but it will always be a short drive from Chicago.
Mark your calendars for April 14th at 9am where we will be meeting up for our first ride of the year at Palos Forest Preserve in the Wolf Road Woods parking lot.
Ride begins at 9am. Get there early to get set up. We ride rain or shine— in case of rain, we will ride the double-track. If the weather is nice, bring snacks for a picnic afterward. Need a bike? Need a ride? Visit the Facebook event page and post for help.
The dates for the rest of the year are:
May 12
June 2
July 7
August 4
(Possibly Sept 1)
See you out there with the knobbies in the dirt!
