Pretty. Fast. started as a Women’s Cycling Meet & Greet encourging Chicago cyclists to meet other female riders and racers in a friendly, low-key environment. Great for seasoned cyclists as well as newbies — the meet & greet encourgages you to come with questions or just come ready to meet new friends, say hi to old ones and be a part of Chicago’s growing female cycling community.
After an overwhelming response to our first event, Pretty. Fast. is growing into a community organization to help support and unify women and transgendered individuals who ride and race bikes. By bringing ladies together of varying skill levels, we’re making the racing scene more accessible to newbies, and also getting women (and men) to realize we actually are a growing community with our own goals, needs, and interests.
We’ll be using this site to also keep you up to date with some useful information like upcoming races, clinics, events, helpful resources, etc. And we’re looking for community contributors, so please contact us at info [at] pretty-fast [dot] org if you are interested!
